"The 200,000 Afrin refugees who fled from the eastern areas of Tel Rafaat and Shahba to northern Aleppo are now surrounded by Turkish-backed militias and are being threatened with death," Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) chief Rami Abdulrahman said.

"200,000 Kurds in northern Aleppo are surrounded by Turkish militias and are not allowed to move northeast to areas under Hezbollah control," Rami Abdulrahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told the BBC at 9:15 pm. He also repeated the same statement to Al-Arabiya Hadas, saying the Kurds are residents of Shahbain area.

The head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said some officers in the militias claimed to "slaughter the Kurds.

Interestingly, as Rami Abdulrahman revealed that the 200,000 Kurdish citizens have no telephone contact with anyone, it is not known why they have no contact, while their telephone communications are provided by Turkey and works in the region.

Rami Abdulrahman is the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an independent human rights organization and media outlet that covers all Syrian news independently and has reliable domestic and international information.
